Every few weeks someone announces that superintelligence is just around the corner. This site checks. So far the answer has been the same every time.

We keep a running list of things today's “superintelligent” AI has actually done out in the world: the invented court cases, the rock-eating advice, the $1 SUVs. It is not a list of everything that has gone wrong. It is a list of things that are hard to square with the word “super.”

When the answer changes, we will update the big word on the front page. We will probably be the last to know.

Every entry is a real, reported event with a source. The jokes are opinion.
